Harambee hosted an open mic for local musicians to display their talents
Harambee 5th Anniversary Party:
On October 7th, Harambee gathered after the service to celebrate 5 years of God's work in and through Harambee.
Organized Kaos 2
On May 30, Harambee hosted Organized Kaos 2, an emcee battle amongst local high schoolers
Watoto Children's Choir
On January 20, 2007 Harambee church was able to host the Watoto children's choir from Uganda to raise money for the Watoto Child Care Ministry. More info at www.watoto.com.
Milk and Honey Café Grand Opening
On September 17, 2006 our café, Milk and Honey, had it's grand opening and has been open every Sunday since as well as during the HCDA after school program, the HALL.
September SIW Event
On Sunday September 10, 2006 our congregation responded corporately in
worship by joining the Renton Parks Department to clean up a portion of
the Cedar River Trail. Our Church was recognized for this volunteer effort on the City of Renton website here.
Organized Kaos
This Emcee Battle was hosted at Harambee by Kimnang Seng, Phoenix, and Visto. Eight Emcees from different area high schools battled to see who would win the grand prize, a Mac Mini with a protools set up. The contest was judged by Anthony Shears and crew who also performed at the event. Thanks to everyone who participted. We hope to be able to continue hosting more events like this one.

Hip Hop Dance Class

India Trip
